This project was part of a national rollout establishing the presence of Euro Car Parts in most of Scotland’s larger towns and cities.  Prodek Storage Solutions undertook the manufacture of storage solutions and assisted with the fit-out of the units.

The Brief

Block Architects were first approached by Prodek to assist with the survey and preparation of warrant drawings for the conversion of a commercial storage unit in Kilmarnock.  This process involved the detailed survey of an existing commercial unit and warehouse and thereafter the provision and attainment of Building Warrant Approvals for the fit out all in line with the end users’ requirements.   

Our Solutions

Our success with the initial project in Kilmarnock led to several more commissions over a period of 4 years.  Block Architects assisted with conversions and refurbishments in several Scottish Towns and Cities including Glasgow, Dunfermline, Falkirk, Inverness, Paisley, Fife, Perth, Bellshill, and Kilmarnock.

Every project was assessed for potential warrantable work which included wc upgrades, staff facility upgrades, office upgrades and disability adaptations all of which led to the increased storage capacity of the warehousing facilities.

Bespoke storage solutions were put forward by Prodek and thereafter co-ordinated by Block Architects through their Building Warrant Packaging services all ready for site install.
