Appointed by our developer client, Oliver (Head of Block Interiors) were responsible for full re-design of the showroom of Motorpoint in Glasgow and Chingford.

Achieving the client’s requirements

Block Interiors worked closely with the commercial developer client to provide a full re design of the showroom including a new reception point, customer café, open plan sales area and office space, in collaboration with the client. Oliver collaborated closely with Motorpoint’s senior management with the primary objective of creating a comprehensive redesign of the Motorpoint showroom. This involved the creation of an inviting reception area, customer café, an expansive open-plan sales area, and functional office spaces.

Interior design that influences the customer journey

The project was initiated through the clients’ aspiration to re-think the customers journey within the showroom environment, prompting a thorough reconsideration of how customers interact with their spaces. As a result, our efforts led to the development and implementation of a refurbishment program spanning all of Motorpoint’s UK sites.

Oliver took on the responsibility of overseeing the interior design aspects of the project. This involved engaging in detailed discussions with the client selecting material choices, fittings, lighting options and designing bespoke furniture. Our goal was to create the ideal showcase experience envisioned by the client while ensuring practical functionality with the design.
