At Block Architects, we believe architecture has the power to shape not just places – but support communities. That’s why we’re once again lacing up our walking shoes and stepping forward for a cause close to our hearts: Stride for Kilbryde, taking place on Friday 7th June.
Supporting the People Who Support Others
Kilbryde Hospice has long been a pillar of support for individuals and families across South Lanarkshire, offering free care and comfort to those living with life-limiting illnesses. From in-patient care to emotional and practical support for carers and families, the team at Kilbryde make a difference where it matters most – every single day!
As a team, we’ve proudly supported the Kilbryde Hospice over the years through events like their Golf Days, Ladies Days, and more recently, the Stride for Kilbryde walk. These events do more than raise vital funds – they bring people together, spark conversations, and remind us what community is all about. Kenneth Martin of Block Architects comments:
“Kilbryde Hospice does remarkable work, providing a level of care and compassion that truly transforms lives. As a local business rooted in South Lanarkshire, it means a lot to us to give back to the community that supports us – and Kilbryde Hospice is at the heart of that community. Supporting events like ‘Stride for Kilbryde’ isn’t just about walking – it’s about walking together for something bigger.”
Walking the Walk – Join Us or Support the Cause
On 7th June, the Block team will be taking part in the 10k sponsored walk, starting from James Hamilton Heritage Park and finishing at Kilbryde Hospice, alongside fellow supporters, businesses, and local families.
Whether you want to join us on the day or simply support from afar, every step and every donation helps Kilbryde continue their essential work in the region.
Help Us Support the Hospice
We’ve set up a dedicated fundraising page to raise funds in the run-up to the event. If you’re able to donate – no matter the amount – it would mean the world to us and the incredible team at the hospice.
Thank you in advance for any kind donations.
